Description

The London Borough of Sutton has a long held vision to decarbonise the Borough and one of its flagship projects to achieve this is the Sutton Decentralised Energy Network (SDEN), which has been developed by its wholly owned ESCo subsidiary Sutton Decentralised Energy Network Limited. The purpose of SDEN is to create heat networks across the borough, primarily using heat from the Viridor energy from waste plant but in future other sources may be added. This contract is for Technical Consultants for the extension of heat networks from SDEN to Sutton Town Centre. To produce a design (RIBA stage 3) of the pipe, energy centre, and consumer connections. The Technical Consultant is also asked to provide support to SDEN through the procurement of a D&B contractor, along with project management of the works to completion.
