Description
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) intends to appoint the British Standards Institution (BSI) to develop a standard for an Energy and Net Zero Publicly Available Specification (PAS) standard, including update to PAS 51215 to ensure alignment with the new standard.
Total Quantity or Scope
BEIS requires a PAS standard on net zero audits assessment, a National Annex to the ISO 50001 standard that covers applying net zero elements to this standard, and a revised PAS 51215 that includes net zero competencies. The standards will need to be developed through leveraging the knowledge and experience of relevant industry stakeholders and will need to be publicly consulted on, ensuring openness and accountability in the development of the standard.
