Description

As part of Bristol City Council's VCSE strategy we're reserving this contract under PPN 11/20 for local Bristol (BS1-BS16) SME and VCSE organisations. For further information on the policy note please follow - 20210923 - PPN 11/20 Reserving Below Threshold Procurements.docx (publishing.service.gov.uk) Bristol City Council is supporting the Homes for Ukraine Scheme which include host families from Bristol offering shared accommodation to Ukrainian families displaced by the war. BCC is seeking a provider of ESOL classes for Ukrainian Refugees. he primary purpose of the contract is to provide at least 2 ESOL classes a week for 12 months to each of the Ukrainian refugees (guest family) who arrive on the Homes for Ukraine programme. The funding will be used to fund teaching, bi-lingual teaching assistants, materials and room hire. The provider will invite the Ukrainian refugee to attend a local ESOL class twice a week or more. The provider will offer a network of lessons across the city to enable the refugee to attend a local lesson. The provider can contact neighbourhood hubs to provide accommodation for classes.
