Description
This notice is for information only. The Authority may or may not subsequently publish a formal contract notice in the future. The Authority has a number of financially-related systems and services served via existing contracts which are approaching expiry. We are now seeking to explore, via this notice and associated market engagement/request for information, the potential to combine future needs in to one contract or if separate contracts are more appropriate. This will help to inform CPS commercial strategy for this potential requirement. Please refer to the additional information contained in this notice.
Total Quantity or Scope
CPS has a number of individual contracts encompassing a range of services relating to key financially related systems which support CPS day-to-day business operations. These individual contracts are for: BACS and Cheque Payments Supplier Portal Interface and Marketplace Hosting Services Reporting and Analytics toolset with modelling and scenario planning provision Fees Calculator The contracts expire at different times between March and October 2023: BACS and Cheque Payments – 31 March 2023 Supplier Portal Interface and Marketplace Hosting Services - 31 March 2023 Reporting and Analytics toolset with modelling and scenario planning provision – 31 October 2023 Fees Calculator Given the staggered expiry dates of the current contracts, CPS is considering commercial options and strategy to let new arrangements as there is a continuing need for the services – not necessarily “as is”. CPS is also reviewing the future requirement and responses to this notice and an RFI will assist us to take into account market opinion/feedback.

This notice and associated RfI is aimed at gathering views from the market/potential suppliers as to the feasibility of a procurement for a single contract encompassing all services with a staggered implementation around current contract expiry dates or if a series of individual contracts may be more appropriate. Then log-in via the opportunities link to view the project. Market Engagement Session: The Authority is holding a market engagement session on 31 May 2020 from 11:00am. The session which will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams. The purpose of market engagement session being to: — share the Authority's early thinking around the potential requirement, — seek views from potential providers on the potential requirement, — give an overview of the procurement process should the Authority subsequently publish a formal Contract Notice. There are no restrictions on the number of potential providers who may register the market engagement session. Potential providers are advised that joining the session does not: — constitute a formal expression of interest, intention or commitment to submit a tender response, — give any advantage over any potential provider(s) who do not join the session. The Authority may, without prejudice, use feedback from the session to help inform the development of the potential requirement. For potential providers unable to attend the session and/or who have sight of this notice after the session, any delivery materials (slide deck, etc.) will be available on the Authority's e-procurement portal. CPS is offering the opportunity for potential suppliers to have a 1-2-1 discussion The opportunity for a 1-2-1 is to help CPS gather information about the type of systems which may be available in the marketplace and to help inform our potential requirement.
