Description
NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group is awarding a contract for the provision of Adults - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment and Treatment - Waiting List Initiative services for Devon. In Devon, demand for existing ADHD services increased, with an exponential rise in referrals for assessment and the prevalence rates changing in demographic. As a result of this increased demand, the CCG has commissioned additional capacity in order to reduce waiting times and support services to achieve an 18-week referral to treatment target. NHS Devon CCG commissioned a provider to deliver a NICE compliant model of medical care to address a proportion of the current backlog of people waiting for an ADHD assessment. The contract value is for a 6+6-month term. The maximum total value for the 12-month period is £250,000 based on the delivery of the requirements. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner(s).
