Description
NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group is awarding a contract for the provision of Adults - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment and Treatment - Waiting List Initiative services for Devon. The contract value is for a 6+6-month term. The maximum total value for the 12-month period is £250,000 based on the delivery of the requirements. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner(s).
Total Quantity or Scope
In Devon, demand for existing ADHD services increased, with an exponential rise in referrals for assessment and the prevalence rates changing in demographic. As a result of this increased demand, the CCG has commissioned additional capacity in order to reduce waiting times and support services to achieve an 18-week referral to treatment target. NHS Devon CCG commissioned a provider to deliver a NICE compliant model of medical care to address a proportion of the current backlog of people waiting for an ADHD assessment.
