Description

NHSGG&C require a Contractor to maintain vehicles of various types that are owned by the Board. The Boards owned fleet of vehicles require a Contractor to maintain them to ensure that they are roadworthy and meet all Department of Transport Regulations. The Contract should include:- Scheduled Maintenance. Breakdown Assistance & Maintenance. Vehicle Recovery. MOT’s. Vehicle Uplift & Delivery At present the owned vehicle total is 82 of various types/makes & models, it is unlikely that this number will increase but will actually decrease as when vehicles come to the end of their life cycle they will not be replaced by purchasing New but by utilising the Vehicle Leasing Framework. TUG have agreed that a 3 Year Contract with 2 x 12 Month Extension Option should be the Contract Period.

With regards to the Section headed Award Criteria the 3 Quality Criteria with a total of 20% will be scored based on the following Mandatory Requirements:- 1. Bidder must confirm and detail the process on how required repairs will be communicated to Customer before work is started. Communication 4% 2. Bidder must confirm and detail their ability and resource so as to take on and manage the volume and specification of all vehicles in the Contract, this should include Manpower and Premises/Facilities & Equipment. Delivery/Provision of Service 4% 3. Bidder must provide a List of all Personnel inc Job Title who will be involved in providing Contract Delivery ie Management/Administrative/Technical/Customer Support etc. Support 4% 4. As the vehicles are required to maintain Service Levels to Hospitals & related medical facilities across the GG&C footprint the Bidder must provide detail of how the NHSGG&C vehicles will be prioritised and how the turnaround time will be minimised from point of Uplift/Receipt to the point of Job Completion & Return. Delivery/Provision of Service 4% 5.
