Description

National Galleries Scotland (NGS) wish to award a multi-lot contract for the Provision of Wayfinding Signage. The contract will include the manufacture, production & installation of wayfinding signage for the NGS estate.

Lot Division

1 Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art (Modern One & Modern Two)

The procurement will be conducted through the use of the Open (single stage) procedure. Bidders must complete and return an SPD (Scotland) form along with their tender submission. Economic Operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of The Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

2 Scottish National Gallery (SNG) complex, including the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA)

The procurement will be conducted through the use of the Open (single stage) procedure. Bidders must complete and return an SPD (Scotland) form along with their tender submission. Economic Operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

3 Scottish National Portrait Gallery (SNPG)

The procurement will be conducted through the use of the Open (single stage) procedure. Bidders must complete and return an SPD (Scotland) form along with their tender submission. Economic Operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Renewal Options

The contract makes provision for an optional variable extension period of an additional 6 months maximum.

There will be no commitment to a minimum volume of orders under the contract. Under this agreement no minimum volume of orders is guaranteed. Orders of production samples and wayfinding signage will be agreed to on an "as required" basis. Supplier(s) will have no claim against NGS if they are not instructed to deliver any volume of orders. The expenditure, work or effort undertaken by Bidders prior to the Award of Contract is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of Bidders. Late SPDs and tenders may not be considered by National Galleries Scotland.
