Description
Digital Pathology Framework agreement to be extended (original contract award notice JAN307864) until 31st January 2022 under Regulation 72: (c)where all of the following conditions are fulfilled— (i)the need for modification has been brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority could not have foreseen; (ii)the modification does not alter the overall nature of the contract or framework; (iii)any increase in price does not exceed 50 % of the initial contract value or framework agreement;
Total Quantity or Scope
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GG&C) wish to extend current framework agreement with a service provider to provide a system that will enable the Digitisation and review of glass slides within Histopathology. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHS GG&C) wish to work with other boards to allow them to call off from this framework. This pilot will run a further 4 months. Throughout the pilot, the supplier will be expected to provide the software and scanning hardware and to implement and support the system throughout NHS GG&C and NHS Lothian and extend to NHs Lanarkshire and NHs Dumfries & Galloway plus provide training to users of the system with a view to a potential future roll out across the Country (see original contract notice)
