***This is not a tender exercise by the Education Authority.*** The Education Authority wishes to engage with the market to seek their views on establishing a robust, value for money contract for tree surgery and tree surveying across various locations throughout Northern Ireland. Any information gathered through this market consultation exercise will inform internal business planning and any possible subsequent procurement process and will NOT be appraised in any future tender evaluation exercise. Please note that participation or non-participation in this preliminary market consultation exercise shall not prevent any supplier from participating in any potential procurement process, nor is it intended that any information supplied shall place any supplier at an advantage or disadvantage in any forthcoming procurement process. For the avoidance of doubt, this is the scoping phase of the project and is not part of a formal procurement process. The tender is envisaged to be published July 2022. Please note any estimated framework values contained within this notice are subject to change and will be published in the future contract notice. The values within this PIN notice represent estimated spend on the framework over four years. The estimated range value for this framework is £1,125,000 with the upper estimated framework value ie. £6,400,000 for contingency purposes within the framework for unplanned works required over the lifetime of the framework. This upper limit also includes the provision for Voluntary Grammar schools and other Public Bodies who may avail of this framework. Please note, there is no guarantee of the volume required during the framework or to the exact value of orders over the Framework Period. This will be a demand lead contract were if EA have requirement for services and have the funding for services an order will be placed with the respective contractor. In exceptional circumstances, if the successful contractor is unable to carry out the work, the Education Authority reserves the right, at their discretion, to engage another successful contractor from another Lot.
