This notice is in relation to a draft outline requirement written by the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC, who are part of UKRI) of a proposed Direct Field Acoustic Noise (DFAN) facility to be used to test satellites and large sub-assemblies in the National Satellite Test Facility (NSTF). The purpose is to prompt market and technical information relating to the purchase and rental of the equipment needed to carry out acoustic tests in the NSTF. It is important to note that this notice is NOT a call for competition but for UKRI to engage with the market to assist in the understanding of such a requirement.
