Hertfordshire County Council (the ‘Council’) is currently out to procurement for the provision of a Framework Agreement for the supply of Warehouse Packaging.

Hertfordshire County Council (The Contracting Authority), acting on behalf of the Participating Authorities is leading on the procurement process to establish a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Warehouse Packaging (herein after referred to as ‘Goods’), and is seeking suitably qualified Contractors to supply the Goods and any related Services under any Agreement resulting from this tendering exercise. Details of the Goods required under this Agreement are given in Appendix 1 of the Specification (Schedule 1). The requirement is for delivery of the Goods in bulk drops to the Participating Authority’s central stores. The Goods required under this Framework Agreement have been split into the following Lots:Lot 1: White Boxes, Bespoke Boxes Bespoke Nottingham BoxesLot 2: Warehouse Packaging-Line-By-Line AwardThe estimated total value of the Framework Agreement is stated in II.1.5) of this notice and is for the four-year term, together with the Individual Orders and their possible durations. It is anticipated that the term of the Individual Orders awarded under this Framework Agreement could be up to 4 years. For the avoidance of doubt, the estimated annual value of the Contract will be approximately GBP 150,000.00.The Framework Agreement will be awarded for an initial term of 2 years.Please note that the contract requirements will be subject to available financial resources, supplier performance and flexibility to meet changing demands.There will be no form of exclusivity or volume that is guaranteed under the resultant Framework Agreement and the Council other participating authorities will be entitled to enter into other contracts and arrangements with other suppliers for the provision of any, or all, of the requirements which are the same as, or similar to those specified under the established Framework Agreement.Organisations should be aware that due to the nature of the Services provided, any Framework Agreement formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed. Organisations should seek independent legal advice on the implications of this prior to submitting their bid, where appropriate

Award by Group – Tenderers must bid on every item within a group in order to considered for that group. There is no requirement to bid for every group in Lot 1. Group 1- Plain White Boxes - Biodegradable and made with 100% Recycled Raw MaterialGroup 2- Plain White Boxes Contains at least 50% of the raw material to be biodegradable Group 3- Bespoke Herts FullStop Boxes Biodegradable and made with 100% Recycled Raw Material Group 4- Bespoke Herts FullStop Boxes Contains at least 50% of the raw material to be biodegradable Group 5- Bespoke Nottingham Boxes Biodegradable and made with 100% Recycled Raw Material Group 6- Bespoke Nottingham Boxes Contains at least 50% of the raw material to be biodegradable

3 Warehouse Packaging-Line-By-Line Award

Line by Line Award – Lot 2 will be awarded on a line-by-line basis awarding to a maximum of the top 3 suppliers per line. There is no requirement to bid for every line on lot 2.
