Description

The Council have a requirement for the supply and distribution of a range of various Foods suitable for use in mainly Care Establishments and Schools. Distribution will be required to approximately 110 sites situated throughout the whole of Cumbria. This contract will be tendered in 5 lots. Companies will be able to tender for one, more than one, or all Lots. The lots will be evaluated individually and each lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide. The contract will be for a period of 4 years.

Lot Division

1 Fresh Meat, Fresh Sausages and Fresh Poultry

Cumbria County Council has a requirement for the Supply and Distribution of Fresh Meat, Fresh Sausages and Fresh Poultry suitable for use mainly in Care and Educational Establishments. The lot will be awarded to one supplier who will supply and distribute countywide. Additional information: This Framework Agreement for the Supply of Various Foods is for use by the following Contracting Authorities that exist on 17.01.2022 and any successor council as defined in The Local Government (Structural Changes) (Transfer of Functions, Property, Rights and Liabilities) Regulations 2008 to the following Contracting Authorities: (1) Cumbria County Council (2) Allerdale Borough Council (3) Barrow Borough Council (4) Carlisle City Council (5) Copeland Borough Council (6) Eden District Council (7) South Lakeland District Council All schools within the boundaries of Cumbria as listed on Cumbria County Council's website: https://cumbria.gov.uk/schooldata/ Charities and Voluntary Sector
