Legal Justification
NGN's QVD (Quality Vendor Database Framework) is a series of contracts related to the supply of products and equipment for use in Capital Projects undertaken across the NGN Network. The Framework covers many different products and types of equipment and currently has fifteen participating contracted suppliers. NGN has already started the process of retendering this Framework and to date has issued two Expressions of Interest on the Achilles UVDB platform to gauge interest and alert the market to the opportunity against some of the associated lots. There is a significant amount of work to be undertaken to ensure this procurement is robust and compliant and as such NGN intends to extend these existing contracts until 30th May 2023 to give sufficient time for this procurement to be completed
