The requirement is for professional and technical support to undertake activities up to and including Phase 1 of the replacement school consisting of: a. RIBA Stage 1 (Preparation and Briefing) and; b. RIBA Stage 2 (Concept Design) as a fully costed option.

Legal Justification

Failed Mini-competition through CCS Framework RM 6165. DIO approached Ramboll UK based on the fact that they were commissioned by Defence Estates (now DIO) in 2000/2001 for - part of design and Project management for the Nato School, Naples. Value for money will be assessed against framework rates. The contract terms & contract scope have not been changed from the original failed competition. The commission remains a lump sum for RIBA 1 with a fixed priced option for RIBA 2.
