Legal Justification

This contract was awarded in accordance with regulation 32 (2) (b) (ii). Nd:Phosphate Laser glass is a highly technical material which requires specialist handling and very specialist and detailed annealing. The glass required is controlled under a patent and manufactured only by Schott North America Inc.
