Description
The London Borough of Merton (LBM) invites quotes from suitably experienced and qualified organisations to develop and implement a children and young people's social prescribing pilot in Merton in the east of the borough. This is where Social Prescribers/Link workers' will support children and their families/young people to achieve their health and well-being goals. This is focused on improving child healthy weight and low level emotional health and well-being outcomes and taking a holistic and family centred approach. This work is to respond to the impact of COVID on children and young people and families where evidence has shown marked increase in children who are overweight and obese (through the National Child Measurement Programme) as well as COVID impacting children and young people's emotional well-being.
