The University of Bristol are creating a state-of-the-art Dental School for modern dental studies and high-quality patient care, opening in Autumn 2023.

The purpose of this PIN Notice is to notify the supply market of a planned tender for a multi-supplier framework of Dental Supplies. It is desirable for suppliers to be members of the British Dental Industries Association (BDIA). The University of Bristol are creating a state-of-the-art Dental School for modern dental studies and high-quality patient care, opening in Autumn 2023. This investment will put Bristol at the forefront of Dental Schools in the UK and among the best Dental Schools in the world. Bristol Dental School is part of the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus, one of the UK's largest regeneration projects and key to our civic mission. Free dental treatment for the community will be offered by undergraduate students under the supervision of qualified staff. Patients will be able to sign themselves up for treatment in 2023. We have great aspirations for this framework to set us on the way to deliver a robust contract that achieves value for money, including not just cost but encompassing a wide range of requirements including security of supply, access to the latest technologies and innovations from manufacturers to support teaching and enhance student and clinician experience, the highest standards of customer service from contracted suppliers, and to support the University of Bristol Environmental and Social Value vision and strategy. In issuing this PIN and seeking to notify the market. The University makes no commitment to undertake these procurements.
