Description

A service provider to engage year-round with communities (neighbourhoods), in partnership with Leicester City Council and other organisations to provide events and activities to encourage more people to try cycling and walking or consider cycling and walking for more of their trips.

Lot Division

1 Cycling to School, Community & Workplace

Leicester City Council requires a supplier that will deliver a Schools, Workplace and Community Cycling programme in the City. This service would help reduce the number of people travelling in cars in Leicester City. The proposed Contract/s will be for and initial 12 months with an option to extend for up to a further four years subject to available funds. It is anticipated to award to one supplier per Lot but there is possibility for one organisation to deliver more than one service.
2 Walk to School

Leicester City Council requires a supplier that will deliver a Schools, Walking programme in the City. This service would help reduce the number of people travelling in cars in Leicester City. The proposed Contract/s will be for and initial 12 months with an option to extend for up to a further four years subject to available funds. It is anticipated to award to one supplier per Lot but there is possibility for one organisation to deliver more than one service.

The proposed Contract will be for an initial 12 months with an option to extend for a period or periods totalling no more than a further four years
