Description

The aim of the community equipment and wheelchair services (CEWS) is to enable Adults, Children, Young People (CYP) and/or their Carers to have access to a range of equipment, amongst which is the ceiling track hoist service, wheelchair and postural seating services, issued in accordance with assessed needs.

Total Quantity or Scope

A fundamental principle of the service is to promote and enable individuals to continue living independently and in their own homes, communities, and schools, including those wishing to access this service independently of health and care prescribed support.
