Lot Division
1 | : Proposal Writing and Bid Development Support for Research Council Applications: 1. Lot 1: Proposal Writing and Bid Development Support for Research Council Applications: The University has recently received the outcome of its Research Excellence Framework submission and is currently finalising its Research and Innovation Strategy (schedule for approval and publication - July 2022). The University is in the process of investing in its research capacity and aims over the next 3-5 years to significantly increase its research income. To achieve the university’s aims and objectives, bid writers/consultants with a successful track record in submitting applications for Research Council consideration are required to fulfil this Lot. |
2 | Proposal Writing and Bid Development Support for General Grant Applications To date, the University has been very successful in winning grants from the European Structural Funds (ESF). Following Brexit and with the maturing status of the devolved Welsh Government, the statutory funding regime has started to change with the advent of City Deals (e.g., in Cardiff and Swansea), Growth Deals (e.g., Mid Wales), and the Shared Prosperity Fund. In addition, the University more recently has successfully applied to private trusts for financial support, and we aim to further develop this area. To achieve the university’s aims and objectives, bid writers/consultants with experience and a successful track record in submitting applications for general grant funding applications are required to fulfil this Lot. |
3 | Proposal Writing Support for Commercial (Tender/Quotation) Submissions : Proposal Writing Support for Commercial (Tender/Quotation) Submissions: As a means of diversifying the University’s income portfolio, the University has successfully submitted commercial tender applications to various public and private entities across Wales and the UK. Increasing the University’s activity in the commercial space is another area where specialised bid and proposal development support is required to capture these opportunities in Wales, the UK, and Internationally. Bid writers/consultants with experience and a successful track record in making such competitive submissions are required to fulfil this Lot. |
