Legal Justification
This is a voluntary ex ante transparency notice is intended to provide notice of the Authority's decision to award a contract for the provision of a Procurement expenditure analysis services. The spend analysis tool provides the ability to analyse procurement spend across the Welsh Public Sector. Welsh Government procured via the digital marketplace under G-Cloud 11 Framework Agreement (RM1557.11) for two years and this notice is to modify the contract during the term by extending for an additional 12 months under Regulation 72.(1)(c.) This extension represents value for money for Welsh Government as onboarding a new contractor at this stage would cause significant inconvenience and duplication of costs, with ongoing development work on the Digital Action plan and the Welsh Government will plan an exit strategy.
