Description
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking to commission a new open framework agreement consisting of multiple, specialist agencies/providers to supply Locum Education Psychologists to complete statutory psychological advice in respect of children and young people undergoing statutory assessment under the provisions of the children & Families Act (2014) and to work within a consultation framework to deliver Education Plans services to schools in the Royal Borough of Greenwich
Total Quantity or Scope
In order to address the current vacancy gaps, pending the recruitment of permanent staff, we are commissioning an Open Framework Agreement to allow any qualified Locum Educational Psychologist/ provider to join this framework following an open tender process. This will provide a short-term solution that enables us to fulfil our obligations for the local authority and local schools, with respect to managing requests for statutory assessment advice and delivering a traded Educational Psychology Service, in a responsive manner, across the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The call off procedure will be via direct call off, or a mini competition. The procurement will take place through an Open Procedure in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Framework Agreement awarded will be for a period of four years and shall be awarded to multiple providers. Forecasts indicate that total expenditure in this area over the four- year period will be approximately £630K.
