Description
The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to establish a contract for the development and distribution of male and female Welsh children and young people’s voices for use with voice output equipment, using Windows, Apple iOSX/MacOS and Android platforms.

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to establish a contract for The National Centre for Electronic Assistive Technology (NCEAT) Wales. NCEAT wishes to support the development and distribution of male and female Welsh children and young people’s voices for use with voice output equipment, using Windows, Apple iOSX/MacOS and Android platforms. The primary objective is to develop and licence voices to enable young AAC users in Wales to have the choice of high-quality Welsh voices, regardless of which device they use for communication. An additional objective is for these voices to be for the general use for the Welsh public sector.
