3 | Social Development To support students who are facing social barriers, which in turn are affecting academic learning and lifestyles. Courses will be designed to support young people in finding mechanisms to combat barriers faced and support with choosing a positive healthy lifestyle. |
4 | Transition Courses Designed to implement strategies and support systems to ensure a smooth transition between educational milestones. These programs are designed to make the transition from primary to secondary school and secondary school to employment or further training. The course will identify any needs specific to the learner. |
5 | Core Curriculum Designed for students of all abilities, with an inclusive approach. The Core Curriculum areas identified will support those young people who cannot access this compulsory education in a mainstream school setting. The objective is to remove the barriers of location/setting to allow the opportunity for subject areas to still be achieved. |
6 | Specialist Provisions Enabling schools/academies to request specialist provisions as required. There are many training providers who are specialist in specific areas in learning and development, who will create a bespoke course when there is demand.
