Description

The purpose of this ITT is to assist ORE Catapult in establishing a Legal Services Framework Agreement.

Total Quantity or Scope

Lot 1 – Legal Services The Legal Services required under this lot include but shall not be limited to the following: • Construction & Engineering ; • Capital Projects ; • Property (in Scotland and England); • Environmental ; • Planning and consenting ; • Corporate Tax ; • International (EU) Law ; • Commercial Contracts ; • Employment Issues and Immigration; • Pensions ; • Intellectual Property ; • Other Commercial Matters ; • Subsidy Control; • Public Procurement; • Due Diligence ; • General Corporate Support ; and • Investing in SMEs e.g. convertible loans, royalty type returns etc. Lot 2 – Patents/IP Specialist Legal Services required under this Lot may include but shall not be limited to the following: • Specialist providers of patent attorney services; • Advice on IP strategy; • Advise on the appropriate mechanism for protecting innovations -whether by patent, trademark or some other method; • IP audit services; • Drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications; • Defending patent challenges; and • Monitoring patents issued and considering whether challenges may be appropriate. Note : Existing caseload will remain with the patent attorney firm currently handling them.
