This service of foster carer recruitment is required in order to increase the number of foster carers in Hampshire County Council Children's Services and contribute to £4.7m of cost avoidance for the Saving Programme 2023. The purpose of this service is to recruit and produce fostering leads from the Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority and Muslim community in Hampshire to support Hampshire County Council (Fostering Hampshire Children) to increase their capacity of foster carers. Part of this objective will be to strengthen the positive relationships between Hampshire County Council (Fostering Hampshire Children) and these communities and build trust and confidence through a community engagement approach.
