Description

The Housing Executive requires a contract for the provision of Tree Management Services to ensure that all public open spaces in Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s (Housing Executive’s) ownership are maintained and managed to the requisite standards. The maintenance and management of tree services under this contract generally consists of pruning, felling, stump removal, stump treatment, hedge reduction, hedge trimming and associated reinstated work and related tree surveys within areas affected by the service and some in-curtilage work of dwellings owned by the Housing Executive and on occasion’s private properties. The Housing Executive requires a contract for the provision of Tree Management Services to ensure that all public open spaces in Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s (Housing Executive’s) ownership are maintained and managed to the requisite standards. Additional information: This contract is for an initial 12 month period with an option to extend for any period or periods up to and including 36 months

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** The figures in Section V against each lot (1-3) represents the upper limit of the contract value, which reflects the potential extensions of the contract as included in the Conditions of Contract. Contract Monitoring, the successful Contractor’s performance on this Contract will be managed as per the specification and regularly monitored, see Procurement Guidance Note 01/12 - Contract Management - Procedures and Principles. Contractors not delivering on contract requirements is a serious matter. It means the public purse is not getting what it is paying for. If a Contractor fails to reach satisfactory levels of contract performance they will be given a specified time to improve. If, after the specified time, they still fail to reach satisfactory levels of contract performance, the matter will be escalated to senior management for further action. If this occurs and their performance still does not improve to satisfactory levels within the specified period, it may be regarded as an act of grave professional misconduct and they may be issued with a Notice of Unsatisfactory Performance and this Contract may be terminated.
