Description
The purpose of this brief is to seek the services of an experienced Consultant to address the ford at Butter Beck within the River Esk catchment to create a more naturally functioning river and to improve fish passage. This site is a Highways site so the Consultant will need to be experienced in working with Highways Departments to deliver environmental sensitive infrastructure improvements to highways, likely via a S278 agreement. The consultant will: 1 Produce detailed design drawings to satisfy all consenting and Highways requirements, including contractor installation method 2 Obtain Technical Approval from NYCC Highways Department for proposed design 3 Obtain all consents required to undertake the works, likely to include but not limited to: S278 agreement; updating previously submitted Land Drainage Consent application; providing design and advice to Blue Corridors Project Officers to enable reconsult on planning application for variation to work; prepare and obtain Street Works permit along with a diversion plan 4 Procure contractor 5 Arrange and undertake site visits as required, such as with Project Officers, procured contractor and landowners adjacent to the site 6 Deliver Project Management role and provide additional advice as required to deliver the Works in full
