The Maintenance and Service of Chemagic STAR/STARlet & NGS Robotic instruments. Covering annual call outs, verifications & one hundred percent of replacement parts.

The maintenance and service of Chemagic STAR/STARlet & NGS Robotic instruments. Covering call out fees, annual onsite visits and one hundred percent of replacement parts if applicable. The service contract will run for a 48-month period and will provide continuity to the All-Wales Medical Genomics Service, for whom heavily rely on the day to day running of the robotics machines/instruments.

Legal Justification

The procurement for the maintenance and service of the Chemagic STAR/STARlet & NGS Robotics Instruments that only one supplier is able to offer the specific and specialized service of the equipment. Undertaking scope of the wider European Market and conversation with professionals within the All-Wales Medical Genomics Service. It was concluded that only one supplier is able to offer the requirements of the Health Board and Department and deliver the maintenance required to an exceptional standard.
