Description

YPO are looking for Providers to be appointed onto a Framework Agreement for the provision of Light Catering Equipment. The Framework is designed to meet the needs of all public sector organisations which includes YPO’s internal requirements through the following methods: Stock: By establishing an agreement for Providers to deliver stock into YPO’s distribution centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Direct: By establishing an agreement for Providers to deliver to YPO customers on a direct basis whereby the end customer places the order with YPO and YPO places the order with the Provider, but the Provider delivers direct to the end customer. Contractual for Lot 2: By establishing an agreement where the end customer will place orders directly with the Provider on a “contract” basis and the Provider will deliver direct to the end customer on an agreed basis.

Lot Division

1 Light Catering Equipment- Stock and Direct

A selection of light catering equipment to be supplied as stock and direct. This will be inclusive of, but not limited to, food storage, mugs, various crockery, thermometers, measuring jugs, chopping boards, knives, scissors, biscuit cutters, serving trays, various pot and pans, various flatware items.

2 Light Catering Equipment – Contractual

A selection of light catering equipment to be supplied on a contractual basis. This will be inclusive of, but not limited to, food storage, mugs, various crockery, thermometers, measuring jugs, chopping boards, knives, scissors, biscuit cutters, serving trays, various pot and pans, various flatware items.

Renewal Options

The Framework Agreement will cover the period from 07/06/2022 to 06/06/2024 with two options to extend for 12 months. The first decision to extend the contract period will be taken by the end of November 2023 and will be dependent on satisfactory completion of all aspects of the contract to date, the current market conditions for this category and YPO’s contracting structures The maximum contract period will therefore be 4 years, from 07/06/2022 to 06/06/2026 (subject to an annual review, incorporating price negotiations and KPI performance).

YPO will incorporate a standstill period at the point of notification of the award of the contract is provided to all bidders. The standstill period will be for a minimum of 10 calendar days, and provides time for unsuccessful tenderers to challenge the award decision before the contract is entered into. The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
