Description

Essex County Council are planning a bidder's day for suppliers who are able to provide bus stop advertising, including the infrastructure across all 12 of its districts. The planned date for this bidder's day will be 12th January 2023. To register an interest in this event, please email stacey.sitton@essex.gov.uk and you will be contacted to confirm your attendance. The purpose of this procurement activity is to secure an Essex-wide Bus Shelter contract that provides the maintenance of 1117 shelters in-scope, increasing to 1829 over the lifetime of the contract. Also included will be the build, maintenance and installation of new or replacement shelters and the selling of advertising space at agreed bus shelter locations. The Contract will have an initial term of 10 Years with an estimated value between £10 million and £30 million. An option to extend by a further 5 years will be included.

Total Quantity or Scope

The purpose of this procurement activity is to secure an Essex-wide Bus Shelter contract that provides the maintenance of 1117 shelters in-scope, increasing to 1829 over the lifetime of the contract, also including the build, maintenance and installation of new or replacement shelters and to the selling of advertising space at agreed bus shelter locations.
