** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** The contract will include mainly external fabric improvement works to a 14 storey, no-fines concrete tower block, constructed in 1961. The works will include the removal of existing external render system, windows and cladding to bay projections. The tower block will be reclad with a contractor designed rainscreen cladding system, including insulation. The works include the design and construction of the rainscreen cladding system, fire stopping/ fire breaks, clerestory windows at roof level, raised walkway at roof level, lightning conductor installation and roof mansafe system. The works also include the installation of new triple glazed windows, new steel framed, pitched, steel deck roof structure to fully enclose existing flat roof area. There will also be external work improvements to main entrance area and a new entrance canopy.
