Lot Division
1 | Immigration Support for Employers in Scotland The UK’s immigration system is complex, bureaucratic and expensive to use. Employers in Scotland require good quality immigration advice and information to help them navigate the system. The provider will help employers meet their immigration needs through three tiers of support. Tier one will be a universal offer, available to everyone, and will entail the provision of up-to-date and accurate information in plain English on our digital platform. Tier two support will assist employers who are actively seeking to recruit talent to Scotland. Users who subscribe to tier two will be able to access more detailed information. This may include but is not limited to newsletters, webinars, tutorials, blogs, social media content, short videos and other means of communication. The needs of most employers will be met through tiers one and two. Tier three support will entail one-to-one advice for employers who continue to face barriers using the immigration system. This advice will be delivered online or by telephone. The advice will meet the Level 1 standards of the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner or equivalent. The provision of immigration advice is regulated and the provider will meet the relevant provisions of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999. In other words, the provider must be a member or a relevant professional body or registered with the Office of Immigration Services Commissioner. The supplier will provide information and advice to employers in Scotland’s public, private and third sectors. We expect the number of organisations in Scotland holding a sponsorship licence to increase as a result of this service. |
