Description

The aim of this requirement is to propose a methodology for capturing the scale of women experiencing 'hidden' homelessness in the UK, specifically unhoused/unsheltered women. The research will be informed by learnings from research conducted by University of York and Fulfilling Lives Islington & Camden (FLIC) in 2021 1 to build a more accurate picture of women's experiences of rough sleeping and hidden homelessness in the London borough of Camden and the women's rough sleeping census 2 which is currently being conducted by a group of organisations to test a pilot methodology for capturing the scale and circumstances of women who are sleeping rough in London and will consider how the approach used for that work can be improved and applied in the UK.
