LLAOL's noise consultant will be providing technical advice, support and input into the quarterly and annual monitoring reports on Airport Noise. This is a continuation of services previously supplied to support the Airports expansion, that has been called in for review by the government. A lot of historic information and data is held by the current supplier, to change supplier would push back the review and would be commercially damaging and uneconomical

Legal Justification

This Noise consultancy work is a continuation of work already tendered for at a lower than FTS value to support the Airports expansion. The government have requested further information. Bickerdike Allen Partners LLP have historic data and processes already establish by the work they have already undertaken. To change supplier would cause damage and disruption commercially and financially to the airport as a new supplier would have to start the process from the beginning.
