Description
All apprentices must undertake an independent End Point Assessment (EPA) which is a holistic assessment of the knowledge, skills and behaviour that have been learnt through the apprenticeship. The purpose of the EPA is to make sure the apprentice meets the standard set by employers and fully competent in the occupation.
Total Quantity or Scope
The requirements for the EPA are set out in the assessment plan for the Level 3 Custody and Detention standard. Apprentices will not be able to achieve an apprenticeship standard without satisfying all requirements of the assessment plan, including the end-point assessment.
