Other Information
The aims of this study are to assess to what extent the most recent increases in the National Living Wage (NLW) have affected wages, employment and hours. The focus will be the most recent uprating in 2022 but should also cover the uprating's in 2020 and 2021. We are primarily interested in quantitative answers to these questions, but would also consider evidence gathered from qualitative research and interviews. Researchers should seek to take advantage of new and/or innovative methods and data sources that, as far as possible, separate out the effects of changes to minimum wages from those of the pandemic and of the UK leaving the EU.
