Description

Ensure the UK has a system with the ability to receive messages from satellite/mobile tracking devices on board vessels and transmits the data onward. Deliver a contract with provider ensuring adequate support mechanism and processes are in place. Ensure the UK is not infraction under the EU regulation (EC) No 1224/2009 (Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 404/2011). To provide suitable training to enable Marine Management Organisation officers, Marine Scotland, Welsh, Northern Ireland and approved economic operators to be able to effectively use new processes and tools.
