Description

The Authority is looking to procure a framework agreement (Agreement) for the provision of Tree Maintenance Services and Associated Work Packages. The scope of the Work Packages to be procured ranges from pruning (mostly crown lifting for statutory clearances with some reduction from structures) to dismantling and removing dead or end of life trees. The Work Packages will be required to be carried out on the Authority's departmental jurisdictions including recreational sites, public open spaces and incidental open spaces around public buildings; but the vast majority of the work will be on trees adjacent to highways across the county. The range of skills and resources required must include the ability to work on large dead or dying trees which may require MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform). The intention is to create a three lot Framework with one supplier for each of the three areas of Lancashire, North, South and East, to complete the Work Packages in each area. The Authority is looking to procure a framework agreement (Agreement) for the provision of Tree Maintenance Services and Associated Work Packages.
