The Catering Service is an extremely important element of the clinical support function to the Trusts clinical care groups, and therefore there is a real desire to engage early with the market to inform the market of the opportunity. The current contract is due to expire at the end of October 2023.The Catering Service is made up of the following sub-services:• Patient catering; • Retail catering (including vending);• Function / hospitality catering. The sites which the Catering Service supports are:• Dartford;• Canterbury;• Maidstone; • Margate. The above properties support circa 375 patient beds.

Total Quantity or Scope

The tender will be released to market on 9 March 2023 under the open procedure. Additional information: The Trust would like to invite interested parties to a virtual pre-tender market engagement session on 15/02/23. The session will consist of a presentation by the project team providing detail and context with regards to the Catering Service.If you wish to attend this event please provide the Trust with your proposed attendees and a link to the event will be forwarded on to you
