This procurement process is to arrange a Contract for the Periodic Inspection and Testing Of Stage Lighting for various Dundee City Council properties.

Renewal Options

It has been agreed to award the contract to a single supplier for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further two periods of 12 months each (5 years in total).

Other Information

Tenderers must confirm they already have or commit to obtain prior to the commencement of the contract, the following levels of insurance: (a) Employer’s Liability Insurance covering the death of or bodily injuries to employees of the bidder arising out of and in the course of their employment in connection with this contract to the level of 10,000,000 GBP in respect of each claim, and (b) Public Liability Insurance covering the death of or bodily injury to a person (not an employee of the bidder) or loss of or damage to property resulting from an action or failure to take action by the bidder to the level of 5,000,000 GBP in respect of each claim, and (c) Professional Indemnity Insurance/Medical Malpractice Insurance covering the failure of the bidder to use the skill and care normally used by professionals providing the services described in this tender to the level of 2,000,000 GBP in respect of each claim, and Where an indemnity or compensation obligation falls within more than one of the heads of insurance cover referred to above, the supplier shall secure that the insurance effected to cover that obligation is to the extent of the highest of the indemnity limits stipulated in the clauses of this condition applying to that obligation.
