Description
West Sussex County Council, Kent County Council and Southampton City Council are looking to commission 36 residential places and support services for Children with Complex Lives. The aim of these services will be to support effective partnerships with providers to meet the needs of children with complex lives who need high quality care. The places will be offered across 3 lots: one for each authority.Central to this service will be a model of residential care based on an effective relationship between the Participating Authorities and provider(s). The services are being designed to support a relationship in which all parties bring their skills, expertise and imagination to an approach, underpinned by a shared set of values and beliefs. As part of this approach the authorities are committing to a soft-block contract model, long contract and high quality support during the mobilisation of contracts.
