Description
The type of contract to be awarded is a contract for services for the provision of up to 16 residential care home placements for 24 hours per day 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year. The placements are for adults (i.e. aged 16 and above) with assessed needs, some of whom may have physical and/or learning disabilities/mental health problems.
Total Quantity or Scope
Procurement of social and other specific services in accordance with Section 7 (Regulations 74 - 76) Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Additional information: Tenderers must provide residential services fully compliant and registered with the Care Inspectorate. The premises must also be registered with the Care Inspectorate Tenderers must complete and return the Single Procurement Document (SPD) for exclusion and selection criteria All those complying with the SPD and other requirements as specified in this Contract Notice with be considered

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** II.2.6 This is the Estimated Total Value should options to extend be taken up. The Estimated Annual Value is 760,000 GBP. GBP means Great British Pounds. The Contract shall be subject to Scots law and the jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts. Contract Award Criteria will be specified in the Invitation To Tender (ITT). The Care Inspectorate is the regulatory organisation for these services. The Contract shall be for an initial period of two years (24 months), with options to extend annually for up to a further 3 x 12 month periods. Total maximum contract will be 5 years (60 months). The Contracting Authority may exclude any economic operator from the procurement procedure if, in the Contracting Authority's sole opinion, the economic operator cannot demonstrate that it can provide the service from 1st April 2023.
