Description
Cornwall Council is conducting a soft market assessment to gain an understanding of the potential level of interest within the private sector to provide Cornwall Council's Adult Social Care directorate with virtual training on 'Trauma Informed Practice' initially 6 sessions over the course of 2023/24 to raise awareness amongst our Adult Social Care staff about the wide impacts of trauma. We require a minimum cohort of 18 delegates per session to cover the following: • Describe the different kinds of Trauma and discuss their impacts on adults • Understand how Trauma informed care works • Identify and apply trauma informed care principals • Develop appropriate responses to trauma disclosures • Recognise personal compassion fatigue and act on it
