The maintenance of PinPoint Security system that is used for staff protection to raise alarm when an incident occurs. All staff are equipped with pinpoint badges that are issued by supplier PinPoint. The maintenance service is only able to be provided by the supplier of the badges given the guarantee that the maintenance is carried out to the specified requirements.

Legal Justification
PinPoint Priority Service Ltd are the current incumbent supplier within the Health Board of the PinPoint security badges and are the only supplier on the European market that is able to provide the maintenance to the required specification. Hence, the reason not to publish a call for prior competition.
