Description

Erewash Borough Council has a requirement for a range of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) planned preventative and responsive maintenance services. Tenders are therefore being sought for the provision of these services. The tender has been split into 4 lots: Lot 1 – Air conditioning and ventilation fans Lot 2 – Emergency lighting and reactive electrical maintenance Lot 3 – Gas/associated equipment and reactive mechanical maintenance Lot 4 – Lightning protection and chimneys Tenderers can bid for an individual or combination of lots however, a maximum of 2 lots can be bid for.

Lot Division

1 Air conditioning and ventilation fans
  • Value: £15K

Planned preventative maintenance of split unit air conditioners and ventilating fans and controls. In 2022/23 the spend for services within this lot was in the region of £3000.00

2 Emergency lighting and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Value: £100K

Servicing the Emergency Lighting Systems that are installed within properties throughout Erewash Borough Council Authority to ensure compliance with their Statutory and Legislative requirements and obligations. The Contractor shall be a full member of a recognized electrical certifying body in order to undertake works on emergency lighting. In 2022/23 the spend for services within this lot was in the region of £20,000.00

3 Gas/associated equipment and reactive mechanical maintenance
  • Value: £125K

Gas servicing across various Council assets. In 2022/23 the spend for services within this lot was in the region of £25,000.00

4 Lightning protection and chimneys
  • Value: £21K

Lightning protection across Council assets. In 2022/23 the spend for services within this lot was in the region of £4200.00

Renewal Options

The initial contract period is 36 months. There are two options to extend for up to 12 months each. Maximum contract period is 60 months.
