Description

Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) will be undertaking the procurement of its Corporate Gritting Services to provide a winter gritting service. The appointedcontractor will be responsible for the provision of gritting services, including snow/ice clearance and supply and replenishment of salt bins. Locations include theCouncil’s corporate office site as well as community buildings such as libraries, community centres, warm spaces and care homes. TheCouncil also offer a "BuyBack" service to schools and educational sites and other 3rd sector organisations. The initial contract duration is 3 years with an optionto extend by 12 months

Total Quantity or Scope

Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) will be undertaking the procurement of its Corporate Gritting Services. The contract will provide a winter gritting service. The appointed contractor will be responsible for the provision of gritting services, including snow/ice clearance and supply and replenishment of salt bins at the Council’s corporate office site as well as community buildings, community centres and care homes. The initial Contract Duration is 3 years with an option to extend by 12 months.
