Lot Division
1 | T Level Provider Support The overarching purpose of the T Level Provider Support Package is to support providers with creating and sustaining a high-quality T Level programme. More specifically to: • provide support for two years prior to delivery to providers delivering their first T Levels in 2025 or 2026, including industry placement support; • pick up from the current Supplier to cover the second year of planning support for 2024 providers, including industry placement support; • provide industry placement support for 2023 providers, as this was not part of the previous planning support package; • include some in-delivery support for all waves; and • put in place longer-term support structures, including networks and online resources, that can be self-sustaining in the long-term. Given the complexity of the new courses, the demands on teachers’ time, and the challenges of curriculum sequencing, industry placements sourcing and delivery and specialist teacher recruitment, the need for an effective support package is paramount. |
2 | T Level Industry Placements Employer Engagement We are seeking a potential supplier to provide support to T Level providers in developing and implementing effective employer engagement strategies to source and deliver the number of high-quality T Level Industry Placements and Transition Programme work experience opportunities needed. This is contained across 2 specific Work Strands: • Work Strand 1: Industry Placements Employer Engagement • Work Strand 2: Collaboration |
3 | Support with planning and delivering T Level Transition Programme The aim of the T Level Transition Programme (TLTP) is to provide a high-quality route onto T Levels, for young people who would benefit from additional study time and preparation before starting a T Level. The overarching purpose of the TLTP Provider Support Package is to support providers with preparing and delivering high quality TLTPs that effectively support young people to prepare for and progress onto T Levels. More specifically to: • provide preparation year and first delivery year support to providers planning to deliver the TLTP for the first time from 2024 • provide first delivery year support for 2023 TLTP providers, following on from preparation support received this year • provide preparation year support for providers planning to deliver the TLTP for the first time from 2025 • provide some continuing delivery support for earlier rounds of TLTP providers (2020, 2021 and 2022 TLTP providers) in their second or later year of TLTP delivery • build on existing lessons and evidence, and feed into any outstanding policy development for the TLTP; and report to the Department on how delivery is going • put in place longer-term support structures, including networks and guidance resources We are seeking a Potential Supplier to provide TLTP Provider Support by delivering services contained in 5 specific work strands. • Work strand 1: Set up period and initial diagnosis of provider need • Work strand 2: One-to-one support and challenge • Work strand 3: Events and facilitated peer networking • Work strand 4: Guidance resources • Work strand 5: Monitoring and Reporting |
