Description

NHS Birmingham and Solihull Integrated Care Board (referred to as the Commissioner) are engaging with suitably qualified and experienced providers to express their interest in delivering an Advice and Guidance service to health care professionals across NHS Birmingham and Solihull ICB. The aim of the service is to facilitate advice and guidance on the management of patients in Birmingham and Solihull from a Continuing Healthcare (CHC) perspective, across their range of specialties. The CHC teams are solely located in the Birmingham and Solihull ICB locales and provide services to patients within; referred from multiple sources. The advice and guidance will provide health care professionals with continued access to specialist clinical advice, enabling a patient's care to be managed in the most appropriate setting, strengthening shared decision making and avoiding unnecessary outpatient activity. The purpose of this advert is to invite the market to engage, provide feedback on the draft specification and the data requirement included in the spreadsheet as well as views on digital integration and future opportunities for the service. This will provide the ICB with valuable information to ensure that the service and specification is fit for purpose.
